Position Overview:
Were seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join a supportive special education cooperative in Burbank, IL! This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students emotional, behavioral, and social development across both general and special education settings.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students receiving special education services.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to support students overall well-being and academic success.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans.

Offer crisis intervention and develop strategies to help students manage emotional or behavioral challenges.

Support a positive and inclusive school culture that fosters growth and learning.
Requirements:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement as a School Social Worker or School Counselor

Experience working with students in special education preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
